Welcome to Time Between Tides. This began as a small idea—one we kept returning to. A feeling, really. The sense that things were moving a little too quickly, and that there might be another way to move through a month. A slower way. A more intentional one. Each envelope is thoughtfully put together on Canada’s East Coast, inspired by the orchards, the beaches, and the steady rhythm of the tides. Inside, you’ll find a collection of pieces meant to be explored gradually: an original art print, a seasonal recipe, a letter, and a handful of paper goods designed to be kept, shared, or quietly returned to. There’s no right way to open it. No checklist to complete. Some people sit with it all at once, letting each piece unfold one after the other. Others leave it on a table and come back to it over a few days—finding something new each time. Both feel right to us. What matters most is the pause it offers. We choose a theme each month—something gentle but resonant. A word, a feeling, a thread that connects the contents in a way that isn’t always obvious at first, but tends to settle in over time. It might show up in a line from the letter, a detail in the artwork, or a moment you notice later, when you weren’t expecting it. Time Between Tides isn’t meant to be loud or urgent. It’s not about keeping up. It’s a small, tangible reminder that there is still space for quiet things—for noticing, for remembering, for letting something linger a little longer than it normally would.
